I’m Giving Thanks

With Thanksgiving just two days away—and it’s the favorite holiday for many in my family—I’d like to extend my thanks to you all!  I truly appreciate those of you interested in fitness who open and read my blogs, purchase my book, and heed my calls for webinars, live events, and teleseminars.  And a big warm hug to those Baby Boomers and older adults who have been private clients, as well as those in my exercise classes.  And I can’t forget my coaches and fellow business owners.

“Showing gratitude can illuminate your heart!”

And to family members who read this blog, thanks for your undying support over the years!

Without you all, there would be no Enduring Fitness 4U!  So here’s gratitude from the bottom of my heart!  And these two simple words we just don’t hear them often enough—Thank You!

Research now shows that giving gratitude works both ways—it makes others feel appreciated and can actually benefit those who extend it.  In fact, taking time to express gratitude conveys the following benefits:

  • Improves self-esteem
  • Fortifies mental strength
  • Promotes better sleep
  • Enhances empathy and reduces aggression
  • Increases happiness
  • Boosts physical well-being and a healthy heart

So slow down this week and remember the people and simple things in your life for which you are grateful.  And share your thanks with others, you’ll all feel better for it!
